| The Save Natural Thyroid (SNT) Coalition is changing its name, and expanding its mission, with the goal of improving thyroid care for fellow patients!
We are now going to be called the Coalition for Better Thyroid Care. Our objective: to promote awareness of, practitioner understanding of, insurance/HMO coverage, and continuing legality of the full range of thyroid tests and treatment options. We are working toward the goal of a world where all legitimate thyroid treatment options are better understood, better known, better accepted, more affordable, and legally available...a world where there is greater understanding among doctors, insurers, pharmacies, medical societies, and patients of the legitimate thyroid tests and treatment options available. Helping protect our rights to, availability of and legality of natural thyroid drugs is still a major part of our current mission. But we see the need to expand that focus to promote and protect the full range of options available to thyroid patients. Thyroid patient advocate Geri Rybacki, who has worked tirelessly to help thyroid patients as part of the Save Natural Thyroid Coalition, will be serving as Executive Director of the Coalition for Better Thyroid Care. And writer and thyroid patient advocate Mary Shomon, founder of SNT, is co-founder and advisor to the new Thyroid Coalition.
